The Minnesota Timberwolves seem determined to turn the 2nd overall pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft into a veteran player who can improve their team right away.
Previously, rumors involving that pick and Kevin Love for Pau Gasol surfaced, but now the T’Wolves are after the Laker’s other big man:
Don’t expect this trade to go down, however, because Jim Buss, who is making decisions for the Lakers now, deemed Bynum untouchable after their early playoff exit.
Hypothetically speaking, if the Lakers did accept the trade, they’d essentially be trading Bynum and his size for Derrick Williams and his potential.
The Lakers are finally starting to reap the rewards of drafting Bynum out of high school in 2005 and waiting on his potential.
Don’t expect them to trade him away now so they can develop someone else as Kobe Bryant’s career dwindles down.

What, are these guys insane?! I want to sleep with Scarlett J, but that’s not going to happen either.
haha, you and me both
