Before Kevin Garnett arrived with his new team in Boston, he was always one of my favorite players because of the passion and energy he played with every single night.
It wasn’t enough that he was an All-World player in his prime, but he also brought his hard hat and his tools to work everyday win lose or draw. Now he’s a Celtic so I got no love for the dark, bald leprechaun.
On Thursday night in a game against the Orlando Magic, the Boston Celtics were down 52-25 at one point but still managed to win the game (91-83) and after the game the emotion that Garnett plays with was on full display as he was interviewed by TNT’s Craig Sager:
The Magic were held to a season-low 56 points last time they played Boston and they seemed to have revenge on their mind but they couldn’t close the deal. Can’t blame KG for being so fired up after a comeback win like that.
