It turns out that Lakers center Andrew Bynum will probably be enough for the Magic to ship their disgruntled star, Dwight Howard, out of town.
It’s just too bad Bynum isn’t an option for them anymore.
At one point, the Magic dared to ask L.A. for both Bynum and Pau Gasol in a trade but now they’d be more than happy for just one of those two as it becomes clearer and clearer that trading Howard is a hard task:
One thing the Magic are holding out for, a source told Sporting News, is the resurrection of talks with the Los Angeles Lakers. As the process has played out, it has become clear that the Magic are not going to get a better player in return for Howard than All-Star Lakers center Andrew Bynum. -Source
Looks like Dwight Howard is on the table for the Lakers if they really want him but it’s probably not going to happen considering how much the Lakers love Bynum (even with those knees).
Never say never though. This movie isn’t over until March 15 rolls around.
