It doesn’t look like the Los Angeles Lakers are headed toward a youth movement at all this off-season. One of the oldest teams in the league just got a little older after agreeing to add veteran Antawn Jamison to their team.
It’s reportedly a one-year deal worth the veteran’s minimum as Jamison prepares to play his 15th year in the league after coming out of North Carolina.
The good news is that Jamison was still able to score 17+ points per game for the Cleveland Cavaliers despite his age. He won’t come close to that, but he’ll most definitely help the Lakers bench score some points.
The age thing aside, L.A. has upgraded with Jamison and Steve Nash and possibly a move or two still to come.
Is it too early to start talking championship???
