If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, and I’m not sure why anyone would be, you probably already know your lowly Eagles finished the season with a blowout loss to the NY Giants this past Sunday, officially ending their season with a humiliating record of 4-12 . And as stated earlier in the season by Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie, since Reid manged to undergo another sub-par season, his time at the helm of Philadelphia’s ball has officially come to an end.
Reid is scheduled to meet one on one with Lurie later today to officially get the axe with an official announcement soon to follow.
The Eagles (4-12) finished their worst season under Reid by losing 11 of their last 12 games. They missed the playoffs two straight years for the first time under Reid.
Reid has one final year left on his contract where he is currently scheduled to make a reported $6 million.
Welp, Andy, it was nice knowing you buddy.
