Now that the Denver Broncos have traded Tim Tebow to the New York Jets, Gang Green has become the most entertaining NFL franchise, and we all know HBO‘s hit series “Hard Knocks” would love to have the Jets as the featured team once again, but with this latest report, a monkey wrench has been thrown into their plans. Well, at least for now.
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the trade that shocked the world has been delayed by 24 hours and it won’t be officially done until Saturday (March 24), due to a loophole that will require Tebow to sign a re-written contract.
So instead of introducing Tebow on Friday (March 23), they are scheduled to introduce him at the team’s press conference on Monday (March 26).
It’s pretty much the same thing, this simply gives the media more time to come up with better hard hitting questions for Tebow and head coach Rex Ryan.
And the countdown to Tebowmania begins….
